Shimmer & Sparkle

Adding sparkle to your wardrobe is always in trend for this time of the year. Budgets are also on everyone's mind too. Well, you do not have to spend a fortune and go buy that $800 sequin holiday party dress you just in the window at Barney's. You can simply take a basic color dress from your closet and go to an inexpensive accessory/jewelry store such as Forever21 or H&M and purchase some inexpensive faux crystal or other sequin adornments to add to you basic dress. This is the way to stay on budget this holiday season and still look fabulously glam from head to toe. Just in case anyone still wants a new dress that has that certain holiday quality...try stores such as BEBE or Ann Taylor LOFT for that inexpensive but yet again glamorous holiday party dress for less.

Parka Parka Everywhere...

Take a look around the City Streets, you are not just looking at the Magnificent Christmas lights. When I look around I am seeing the same black parka with the fur lined hood. This is a functional way to stay warm during these frigid temperatures but lets try to be more unconventional. Try a fashionable and yet affordable pea coat from ZARA, Wool Coat from GAP, possibly even a nice lined leather jacket from H&M. Perhaps one has their mind specifially set on a parka, well American Apparel offers a range of parka's in large variety of colors and cuts. Just Remember to Stay Fashionable and Stay Warm!

Over the What?

Not all can get away with the over the knee leather boots. A different way to have the same sex appeal with a leather boot is the mid-calf boot. Also...a stiletto always elongates a leg, stacked heels cause the leg to look "Stump-Like."

Cold

When it is cold outside that doesn't mean dressing frumpy. Layering in light cottons or wool sweaters is a great way to keep warm and have a great and comfortable winter look. Stores such as H&M have many light sweaters for layering and you can choose to go monochromatic or eclectic with the color scheme of your choosing. Also, if a sweater is big and bulky, just add a belt to it and it becomes a classic feminine shape. Happy Layering!
